Sullivan Indiana Phosphorus Removal Building

In 2019, MSI Construction, Inc. served as the General Contractor for the City of Sullivan, Indiana Phosphorus Removal Project, a critical infrastructure improvement for the municipal wastewater treatment facility. The project focused on enhancing the treatment process to effectively address long-standing phosphorus compliance challenges.

Scope of work included the construction of a wood-framed chemical feed building, installation of a chemical storage tank, chemical feed pump system, site piping, and a below-grade injection structure, along with associated site and utility improvements. This chemical phosphorus removal system provides the City of Sullivan with a reliable, long-term solution to improve wastewater treatment performance and meet regulatory requirements, supporting environmental protection and operational efficiency.
