About the Role
The Project Engineer will support the project manager and construction team in planning, executing, and completing construction projects. This role involves coordinating between various stakeholders, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and management of project schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the construction process.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
Support the project manager in communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in construction project engineering or a related role.
