POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Estimatorwill:
Attend all required pre job meeting(s)
Review the scope of each project with the Project Manager and Area Manager prior to beginning work
Review and understand cost codes prior to starting work
Communicate and maintain a good working relationship with INDOT, inspectors, subcontractors and owners
Perform other work related duties as required
project experience utilizing estimating software
Quantify project components assigned by the leading estimator
Visit project to understand site conditions/restrictions
Review plans and specifications
Provide accurate takeoff
Contact subcontractors, suppliers and specialty services for quotes
Analyze and enter quotes
Requirements
EDUCATION
GED
High School Diploma
Bachelors Degree
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Equal
OSHA 30 Hour
Minimum of ten (5) years of estimating in all aspects of large Commercial/ Industrial/ Concrete construction projects (Buildings, underground, earthwork and concrete paving)
Minimum of 3 years working for a GC, CM, or Structural Engineer
Advance knowledge of Bluebeam and Winest software
Preferred field operations experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without company sponsorship
